Qualifications:
– Completion of high school is required
– Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction or related field
– Ability to work effectively outdoors and in various weather conditions
– Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more and performing demanding tasks
Key Responsibilities:
– Load and unload construction materials; transport materials to work areas
– Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
– Support flooring installers by applying finishes
– Assist with surface leveling and preparation
– Aid equipment operators and other team members in their tasks
– Support drilling and rock blasting activities at construction sites
– Remove rubble, debris, and obstructions to maintain a safe work environment
– Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces and ensure safety protocols are followed
– Perform other construction-related duties as directed by supervisors
Working Conditions:
– Work is conducted outdoors in wet, damp, and cold environments, often with dust and strong odors
– May involve exposure to noisy conditions and heavy workloads
– Tasks are physically demanding, requiring standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive motions
