Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $21.00 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Daytime shifts

Start Date: As soon as possible

Overview

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 to less than 2 years

Work Setting: Private home (employer’s residence)

Work Arrangement: On-site only – no remote option

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide attentive care and supervision to children of various ages.

·         Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment in the home.

·         Assist children with daily routines, hygiene, and social skills.

·         Create engaging activities such as play, crafts, and local outings.

·         Prepare and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks.

·         Manage light housekeeping and household organization as needed.

·         Support children’s emotional well-being and respond calmly to their needs.

·         Follow parents’ guidelines on discipline, routines, and expectations.

Personal Qualities:

·         Reliable and organized

·         Patient, caring, and responsible

·         Able to work independently and follow directions

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills
