Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $19.00~$21.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 4190 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC V5C 2J4

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes

·         Monitor kitchen operations

·         Maintain accurate inventories of food, kitchen supplies and equipment

·         Ensure kitchen and all work areas are cleaned and sanitized

·         May organize menu items, determine portion sizes, and estimate food requirements and costs

·         May train kitchen helpers in food handling and preparation

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
