Richco Nature Farm is looking for the suitable individual for Harvesting Labourer positions for its Maple Ridge, BC location.

Work Hours: 40.00 hours per week

Wages: $18.25 CAD per hour

Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent

Main duties

Gather an abundant harvest of mushrooms, vegetables, fruits, and more.

Preparation of soil, planting seeds, weeding, grafting and bud crops; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings

Cultivating, irrigating, fertilizing and harvesting field crops.

Sort, weigh and pack mushroom, vegetables and fruits at the farm.

Load, unload and transfer boxes, crates, supplies, farm produce and products for packing and transportation.

Clean up workplace, including cleaning racks, trays, tables, harvest bins and general clean up of growing, producing and packing areas.

Follow food safety and security and animal bio-security procedures.
Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.

Assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm equipment and tools,

Perform other duties as per instructions.Employment requirementsBasic farm knowledge or previous experience as farm worker would be an asset.
