**Location:** Tim Hortons, 1344 Hwy 17 East, Kenora, ON P9N 1M2
**Job Type:** Permanent, Full-Time
**Hours:** 35 hours per week
**Pay Rate:** $66,000 per year
**Language ** – English
**Number of Position ** – 1
**What you’ll be doing:**
**Operational Excellence:**
* Oversee and manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, security, and maintenance.
* Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure adherence to “Always Fresh” standards while minimizing waste.
**Financial Acumen:**
* Utilize performance data to plan and work within budgets, driving sales and achieving targets.
* Effectively control food, paper, and labour costs to maximize profitability.
* Administer payroll with accuracy and efficiency.
**Team Leadership & Development:**
* Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team.
* Motivate and empower team members to achieve individual and restaurant goals.
* Build “bench strength” by identifying and nurturing employees for future growth opportunities.
* Set clear objectives and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to your team.
* Foster an “open door” policy and maintain open communication channels with all staff.
* Ensure daily communication with all shifts through effective reporting and log systems.
* Maintain open and transparent communication with the General Manager and Restaurant Owner.
**Guest Experience & Compliance:**
* Ensure exceptional guest experiences are delivered consistently, making it a top priority.
* Handle guest complaints and inquiries professionally and with genuine concern.
* Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
* Prepare performance reports and conduct analysis to drive continuous improvement.
* Build positive relationships with the local community and participate in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
* Establish and enforce proper security procedures to minimize theft and ensure the safety of team members and guests.
* Provide leadership and guidance on waste management practices.
**Health & Safety Champion:**
* Ensure full compliance with all occupational health and safety legislation.
* Promote and enforce safe work practices and procedures among all team members.
* Maintain a robust health and safety program for the restaurant.
* Identify and communicate hazards, ensuring proper training is completed and documented.
* Conduct regular workplace inspections and promptly address any unsafe acts or conditions.
* Manage work-related injuries and illnesses, including reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
* Enforce employee compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, including initiating performance counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary.
* Keep the Restaurant Owner informed of any potential hazards and recommend improvements to health and safety practices.
**What we’re looking for:**
* Secondary school education is required.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food industry, with prior experience as a supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
* Proven ability to manage operations, finances, and staff effectively.
* Strong understanding of food safety and health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve targets.
