Position Info:

· Position: Carpenter Supervisor

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $38.50/hour

· Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

· Number of Positions: 1

· Work Location: 20454 77B Avenue, Langley, BC V2Y 4K3

Benefits:

· 10 days paid vacation per year

· Extended Healthcare (after 3 months)

Job Duties:

· Direct and monitor carpentry crews engaged in cabinet, millwork and interior finishing installation projects, assigning work and ensuring required quality standards are met

· Organize daily crew assignments and coordinate installation activities to maintain an efficient workflow

· Develop appropriate work methods and installation sequences to meet project schedules, milestones and completion deadlines

· Address job-site and installation issues, provide technical guidance to carpentry crews, and implement corrective measures to improve workmanship and productivity

· Monitor completed and ongoing work for quality, identify deficiencies, and direct workers to complete necessary corrections in accordance with project requirements

· Determine job-site requirements for materials, hardware, tools and equipment, and arrange for timely ordering or replenishment to prevent work delays

· Train or arrange training for carpenters and junior crew members on installation procedures, quality expectations, safe work practices and company standards

· Ensure carpentry crews comply with workplace health and safety requirements, site procedures and safe practices while carrying out installation work

· Prepare job-site progress and crew activity reports covering completed work, outstanding deficiencies, productivity and schedule status

· Assess worker performance and recommend appropriate personnel actions, additional training or changes in work assignments when required

Job requirements:

· Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry, including experience supervising or leading carpentry crews

· Education: Completion of secondary school is required

· Language: English
