Overview
Tim Hortons located at 118 South Albion Street, Amherst N.S., B4H 2X2 is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for a permanent, full time position. This is an on-site position offering $22.00/hour for 40 hours per week, with one vacancy available and an anticipated start date as soon as possible. The language of work is English.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and supervise a team of more than 20 employees.
Responsibilities include planning and evaluating restaurant operations, monitoring revenues and labour costs, establishing staff schedules, supervising and training employees, conducting performance reviews, maintaining and managing inventory, ensuring food safety and health and safety requirements are followed, following corporate marketing initiatives, and addressing guest concerns.
Applicants must have completed secondary school (high school) and have a minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the quick-service restaurant or comparable food-service experience is required, including relevant supervisory or management experience.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills are required. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be available for a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Safe Food Handling and First Aid certificates are considered an asset. Eligible employees to have access to health care, dental and vison benefits.
