Voyago are currently recruiting for multiple openings to fill 16 existing vacancies and for future roles in the Student Transportation division in Kingston for the 2026/2027 school year!

This is a split shift with both morning and afternoon runs, so being CLOSE to our school coverage area is essential. The location of the parking lots, base and school bus pick up locations will be communicated based on current route assignments at the time of your hire date. These are permanent positions.

Your role:
Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day
Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well kept, professional vehicle
Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle
Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations
Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers

Your profile:
You are safety focused
You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license for at least 1 year
If you don’t currently hold a B or E Class licence, Voyago has you covered—full training is provided at no cost to you!
You are 21 years of age or over
You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
You have a sound knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areas
You have the ability to work independently
You are available for the required shifts:
Monday to Friday approximitly 6:00am to 9:15am AND 1:00pm to 4:30pm (Start and end times will vary depening on the specific detials of each route)
You possess solid communication skills and must be fluent in English
You enjoy being around children of all ages
You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions
You are comfortable driving large vehicles
You can have basic computer skills and can easily navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit

Hourly Rate:
We offer a competitive hourly pay $23/hour!
School routes are paid a minimum 4 hours per day!
Charter work is available for those interested in picking up hours beyond their regular school route!

Drivers can park their buses in the main yard, 930 Coronation Blvd., Kingston ON
Got a driveway with some extra space? You might be able to keep your bus at home for the school year!
