·        Work location: On site

·        Salary: $22.00 to $42.00 hourly (To be negotiated)

·        Terms of employment: Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week) / Permanent employment / Day / Shift

·        Starts as soon as possible

·        Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay + Tip / Relocation costs covered by employer

·        1 vacancy

Job Requirements

Languages:

·        English

Education:

·        Cook’s trades certificate or diploma OR equivalent experience

Experience:

·        Minimum 2 years of commercial cooking experience

 

Responsibilities & Tasks

Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
Create new recipes
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
