Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.70/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 260 4 Ave, Kamloops, BC V2C 3N5

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Assist the Manager in evaluating daily restaurant operations and identifying areas for improvement

·         Supervise staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth service and proper completion of duties

·         Help prepare staff work schedules and coordinate shift coverage when required

·         Train and guide staff on customer service standards, restaurant procedures, and workplace safety practices

·         Monitor staff performance during daily operations and report major performance concerns to the Manager

·         Organize and maintain inventory records, and report supply needs to the Manager

·         Address customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a professional manner and escalate serious issues when necessary

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in food service industry is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
