Job description
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Administer medications according to established schedules and instructions.
- Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide mobility assistance as required.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including meals that meet therapeutic or dietary requirements.
- Provide companionship, conversation and emotional support, and accompany the client during routine daily activities as required.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.
- Launder clothing, bed linens and other household items as required.
- Shop for groceries, food and other household supplies.
- Assist the client with maintaining regular daily routines and general well-being.
- Observe the client’s general condition and report any significant changes or concerns to the employer/family.
- Help maintain a safe home environment and provide assistance with routine activities to support the client’s independence and comfort.
