Position Info:

·         Position: Civil Engineering Technician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $38.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties:

·         Conduct field measurements of buildings and structures using laser and conventional measuring tools

·         Record and verify measurement data accurately to support CAD drafting and technical documentation

·         Participate in site visits and inspections to observe and document existing conditions, noting structural and spatial details

·         Assist in producing precise CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and site layouts

·         Support senior engineers or technologists in preparing reports, specifications, and project documentation

·         Collaborate with design and drafting teams to ensure field data is accurately reflected in drawings

·         Maintain measuring equipment, field instruments, and CAD files to ensure accuracy and reliability

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: College program or certification in civil engineering technology is required

·         Experience: 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering technology is required
