Overview

  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
  • Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Incharge of all the electromechanical works related to the repair and maintenance at the work-place using advanced testing instruments.
  • Troubleshoot, test and repair complex electro-mechanical equipments (motors, transformers, switchgear) by replacing or reconditioning, rewinding components like bearings and coils and perform alignments.
  • Coordinate, inspect and ensure quality of works.
  • Perform static or dynamic balancing of rotors/armatures by welding, brazing or soldering.
  • Perform final operational tests on repaired units to ensure strict performance metrics.
  • Delegate tasks, ensuring safety compliance and help train junior staffs.
