Vancouver Urban Winery is seeking F/T Sous-Chefs

 

Position Info:

·         Position: Sous-Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28.85~$31.85/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 55 Dunlevy Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6A 3A3

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods

·         Plan menus and ensure food quality standards are met

·         Assist and guide cooks and other kitchen workers with food preparation, cooking, and presentation

·         Manage and supervise daily activities and duties of kitchen staff

·         Create new recipes

·         May requisition food and kitchen supplies

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
