Responsibilities
Tasks
Prepare batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
Assist the head baker with preparing bread, buns and donuts
Assist the pastry chef with frying, decorating and completing donuts and pastries for the storefront
Get bakery equipment initially prepared for daily production
Execute overnight bakery production according to standardized recipes, production schedules, andquality standards
Maintain exceptional food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling, storage, labeling, date coding, temperature monitoring, and cleanliness procedures in compliance with the establishment
Safely operate and maintain commercial bakery equipment while keeping workstations organized, fully stocked, and prepared for a seamless handover to the day shift.
