- Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
- Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
- Incharge of all the electromechanical works related to the repair and maintenance at the work-place using advanced testing instruments.
- Troubleshoot, test and repair complex electro-mechanical equipments (motors, transformers, switchgear) by replacing or reconditioning, rewinding components like bearings and coils and perform alignments.
- Coordinate, inspect and ensure quality of works.
- Perform static or dynamic balancing of rotors/armatures by welding, brazing or soldering.
- Perform final operational tests on repaired units to ensure strict performance metrics.
- Delegate tasks, ensuring safety compliance and help train junior staffs.
