Position Info:

  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $30.00~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
  • Number of Positions:  2
  • Work Location: 1010 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB R2W 3P7

Job Duties:

  • Organize and direct food preparation and cooking operations
  • Prepare and cook full meals or specialty dishes
  • Develop menus and ensure food quality standards are upheld
  • Assess supply needs and calculate costs for food and labor
  • Supervise the activities of kitchen staff
  • Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
  • May assist in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff
  • May handle the acquisition and maintenance of kitchen equipment

 

Job requirements:

  • Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required
  • Language: English
