Position Info:
- Position: Retail Buyer
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $34.62~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 825 O’Shea Road, Gibsons, BC V0N 1V8

Job Duties:
- Purchase merchandise for resale by retail or wholesale establishments
- Select products that best fits the establishment’s requirements
- Analyze market trends and reports to make informed purchases
- Monitor inventory levels and manage adequate stock levels
- Maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate the best pricing, discounts, and credit terms
- Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
- Oversee distribution of products and assess the quality of stock received
Job requirements:
- Experience: 1 – 2 years of related experience is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Language: English
