Overview

Position Info:

  • Position: Pastry Cook
  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $22.50~ $24.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
  • Number of Positions:  2
  • Work Location: 4005 Whistler Way, Whistler, BC V8E 1J1

Job Duties:

  • Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets standards
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Oversee inventory and order supplies to prevent any shortage
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation

 

Job requirements:

  • Language: English
  • Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
