Overview
Position Info:
- Position: Telecommunications Technician
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $35.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 25-1610 Derwent Way, Delta, BC V3M 6W1

Job Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain telephone, internet, and cable equipment and systems
- Install and connect communication lines using fiber optic, coaxial, and other transmission media
- Test systems, troubleshoot issues, and verify performance using testing equipment
- Diagnose defects in lines and equipment, and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Maintain detailed records of installation, repair, and maintenance activities
- Provide customer support, guidance, and respond to inquiries to ensure service quality
Job requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in a related field is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Language: English
