Position Info:
- Position: Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $48.00~$53.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

Job Duties:
- Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
- Provide home care guidance and instruction on exercises for postural improvement, stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate treatment records
- Administer massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations
- Apply finger and hand pressure to specific areas of the body to relieve tension and improve function
- Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
Job requirements:
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Education: Completion of an 18- to -24 month or 18- to 36-month program in massage therapy from an accredited school and a period of supervised practical training
- Language: English
- Certificate: Certification by a provincial association for massage therapists is required
