Position Info:
- Position: Welding Machine Operator
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $36.00-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 2944 Dickerson Place, Victoria, BC V9B 2G7

Job Duties:
- Operate welding machines to fabricate, repair, and join metal components used in glass installation and support systems
- Perform brazing and soldering tasks to bond metal parts or fill gaps, seams, and indentations in metal structures
- Inspect welded and brazed components for quality and compliance with specifications
- Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs of welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Job requirements:
- Experience: 7 months-1 year of related experience is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required, or equivalent experience
- Language: English
