Overview

Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of bricklayers, apprentices, and laborers.
Plan and implement work methods to ensure schedules are met and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades on-site.
Manage procurement of materials and supplies, maintaining adequate inventory for ongoing projects.
Provide training and orientation on work duties, occupational safety, and company policies.
Identify and resolve operational challenges, recommending improvements to productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Ensure compliance with building codes, occupational health and safety standards, and project specifications.
Monitor progress, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of completed tasks.
Perform or assist with bricklaying and masonry work when required.

Requirements
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
Certificates: WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Certificate an asset

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Physically demanding tasks
Handling heavy loads
Standing, bending, crouching, kneeling for extended periods
Frequent travel to various work sites
