Position Info:

·         Position: Interior Designer

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $40.00~43.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1200 Lougheed Hwy, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6S4

Job Duties:

·         Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary professionals in executing design solutions and projects

·         Discuss project objectives, preferences, functional requirements, and budget with clients

·         Research, source, and recommend suitable colours, textures, finishes, and furnishings that align with the client’s vision and project goals

·         Create comprehensive design concepts, floor layouts, and 3D visualizations using CAD to illustrate spatial arrangements and design ideas

·         Prepare plans, elevations, and cross sections ensuring compliance with safety regulations and ergonomic standards

·         Develop project cost estimates and material lists, and assist clients with decisions related to procurement, leasing, or space utilization

·         Produce final design plans and documentation in accordance with applicable codes, industry standards, and company procedures

·         Visit project sites to review progress, resolve design issues, and maintain quality and consistency in completed work

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
