Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to provide personal care and support for an elderly client in Côte-Saint-Luc. The ideal candidate is caring, reliable, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in a home environment.

Languages: English or French
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: No experience required – training will be provided

Work Setting

Work must be performed at the physical residence.
Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (not a condition of employment).
Staff accommodation available.

Responsibilities

Administer bedside and personal care
Assist with bathing, dressing, and hygiene
Administer medications
Feed or assist with feeding
Provide companionship and emotional support
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Launder and mend clothing and linens
Prepare and serve nutritious meals; cook as needed
Support clients with Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related conditions
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
