Position Info:

·         Position: Home Child Care Provider

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 3183 Duval Road, North Vancouver, BC V7J 3E3

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year

·         $200/month (vehicle and gas stipend)

Job Duties:

·         Supervise and care for children in the employer’s home and nearby

·         Prepare and serve meals tailored to the children’s needs

·         Bathe, dress, and feed children

·         Maintain a safe, healthy, clean and tidy environment in the home

·         Drive children to school, activities and other appointments as required

·         Support children’s emotional well-being and instruct them on personal hygiene and social development

·         Offer age-appropriate educational activities, including games and outings for the children

·         Supervise and assist with homework

·         Grocery shop for food and household supplies if required

·         Ability to work split shifts if required by the employer

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 1-2 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English

·         Other: Candidates who have a valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle will be preferred
