Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 513 Fisgard Street, Victoria, BC V8W 1R3

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Support the Restaurant Manager in coordinating overall restaurant operations

·         Oversee kitchen operations, including prep coordination, line flow, and food quality checks

·         Prepare staff schedules, monitor attendance, and support overall team performance

·         Track inventory of food, beverages, and supplies and flag re-ordering needs

·         Monitor, record and review sales performance and report findings to the Restaurant Manager

·         Uphold service standards and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements

·         Participate in recruiting and training restaurant staff

·         Address customer concerns promptly and ensure issues are resolved professionally

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service field including supervisory experience are required
