Duan’s family Care from Surrey, BC is looking for the suitable individual for Home Child Care Provider position. The details are as follows:

Work Location: Surrey, BC

Language: English

Work Hours: 30.00 hours per week

Wages: $20.00 CAD per hour

Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent

Main duties

• Discipline child according to parents’ wishes.

• Supervise child at all times to stay aware of his physical and emotional needs and to maintain his constant safety.

• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.

• Instruct child in personal hygiene.

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

•Provide child with meal, and keep meal and activity areas clean and well-organized.

• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child.

• Accompany child to community center, library, park and other places as required. Take child to and from school and to appointments.

• Watches for any signs of behavioral or emotional problems in children and alerts parents to the problems.

• Help child with homework if necessary.

• Perform other related duties as required.

 

 

Employment requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.

• Completion of relevant education or training program as a child care or previous experience in a similar role.

• First aid certification is required.
