Position Info:

·         Position: Carpenter

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00~$38.50/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  5

·         Work Location: 1200 Lougheed Highway, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6S4

Job Duties:

·         Translate interior blueprints into precise cut lists and joinery layouts for bespoke millwork projects

·         Source and mill premium timber or composites while providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring structural integrity

·         Operate high-capacity industrial saws and planers to transform raw materials into architectural elements

·         Engineer custom cabinetry and fixtures by integrating advanced fastening systems with furniture-making techniques

·         Refine millwork surfaces using specialized veneers and laminates to achieve high-end finishes

·         Supervise on-site personnel and assembly protocols to maintain rigorous quality and safety standards

·         Maintain the functionality and appearance of commercial and residential properties through structural repairs and upgrades

·         Survey building locations and levels to ensure precise project installation and alignment

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in carpentry is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
