Position Info:

·         Position: Plumber

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 315 Seafield Rd, Victoria, BC V9C 0R1

Job Duties:

·         Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial settings

·         Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan the layout of water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems

·         Locate and prepare installation points for pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances, ensuring precise alignment through walls, floors, and service areas

·         Create openings in walls and floors to allow installation of pipes and related components

·         Reconfigure and alter piping materials using manual and powered tools or specialized machinery

·         Connect and secure pipes using appropriate methods such as soldering, welding, cementing, or fastening with clamps and couplings

·         Conduct pressure tests with air or water to detect leaks and verify system integrity

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the plumbing trade is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
