Overview
Wage: $25 – $28.85 per hour and up, depending on experience and number of seasons guiding on the Kicking Horse River or comparable rivers. Year-end bonus.

Job Description and Responsibilities
The Seasonal Raft Guide is responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and overall experience of guests during rafting trips. Duties include but are not limited to:
· Safely guide whitewater rafting trips on the Kicking Horse River in varying water levels and weather conditions.
· Provide clear and engaging safety briefings and paddling demonstrations.
· Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure all participants feel comfortable and informed.
· Rig and de-rig rafts and gear before and after trips.
· Perform routine gear maintenance and equipment checks.
· Assist with trip logistics including transportation, loading, and unloading rafts.
· Maintain accurate trip logs and follow company safety procedures.
· Represent the company in a professional and enthusiastic manner at all times.
Employment Requirements
· Valid 50-hour first aid certification (80-hour preferred).
· 2 years whitewater guiding experience on oars in Class III or higher rivers.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Physically fit and able to work outdoors in variable conditions.
· Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

· Workdays may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
· Team-oriented environment with a focus on guest experience and safety.
