About Private Family Home (MK)

We are seeking a reliable, caring child caregiver to provide in home childcare and support in Woodbridge, Ontario. This is a permanent, full time position (30 to 40 hours per week) starting as soon as possible. The caregiver will work in the employer’s home and will be responsible for day to day care, safety, routines, and age appropriate development of the children, along with light household support connected to the children’s care. Optional live in accommodation is available at no charge, but live in is not required and is not a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well being of children
