Fort William Curling Club Kitchen is located at 218 Vickers Street North, Thunder Bay, Ontario. We serve some of Thunder Bay’s finest Chinese and Canadian cuisine. We provide dine-in or take-out as well as delivery. We are now looking for an experience Cook to join us. If you are committed, responsible, place consistency in food and service, and are passionate about Chinese cuisine, we’d like to meet you!

$19/hour for 40 hours/week

Stars as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Restaurant; Urban area

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate special events
• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Organize buffets and banquets
• Manage kitchen operations
