Work Location: Unit 101 – 8811 Laurel Street, Vancouver, BC V6P 3V9

Wage: $25-$27 per hour (Depending on experience)

Hours: 30-40 hours per week

 

Job duties for this position include:

·        Produce the highest-quality baking products at all times while being a lead on the team.

·        Provide training and assist in improving each individual’s skill and experience.

·        Monitor ingredients inventory levels and manage ordering to ensure par levels in stock.

·        Assist in scheduling for bakers to maintain operational and service standards.

·        Establishes and maintains effective and positive communication amongst team members and all other departments.

·        Act as a point of contact in the manager’s absence and make decisions regarding the production and the product quality, if needed.

·        Assist in establishing workflows in the team for production, inventory control, delivery receiving and organizing ingredients.

·        Ensure food and safety standards at all times.

 

Job Requirements:

·        Language: English

·        Completion of Secondary

·        Minimum 3 years of baking experience in a commercial environment/café/bakery is required.

·        Must be available to work during our 24 hours operational hour.

·        Must be available to work all weekends/holidays
