Breka Bakery Creations Inc. is looking for 3 Cooks for overnight shifts!

Employment Type: Permanent/Full-time
Work Location: Unit 101 – 8811 Laurel Street, Vancouver, BC V6P 3V9
Wage: $20.50-$24.50 per hour (Depending on experience)
Hours: 30-40 hours per week between 7PM and 8AM daily. (ONLY overnight shifts)
Responsibilities:
· Food Preparation & Cooking: Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food/savoury items (mixing, baking, frying) according to recipes.
· Quality Control: Ensuring all food prepared in the kitchen meets the established standards for taste, temperature, safety, and presentation.
· Monitor Stock Levels: Regularly check, count, and monitor inventory of food, dry goods, and kitchen supplies to ensure sufficient quantities for daily demand.
· Receiving Deliveries: Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock, verifying quality and quantity against invoices.
· Collaboration: Working with co-workers effectively to meet the production deadline and ensure smooth, harmonious operations.
· Kitchen Sanitation: Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, including cleaning equipment and ensuring safe food storage at proper temperatures.
Job Requirements:
· Language: English
· Completion of Secondary
· At least 1 year of cook experience
· Must be available to work overnight shifts between 7PM-8AM.
· Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
· Must be able to lift 25kg.
