Friends and Family Bake Corp. is looking for one full time permanent Baker NOC 63202, work located at Fan Tan Alley, Victoria, BC V8W 3G9.

Hourly wage is $18.00. Language at work location is English.

Duties:
Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
Bake mixed doughs and batters
Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
Ensure quality of products meets established standards
Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
Purchase baking supplies
May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
May hire, train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
Develops new products for a la carte or menus on a rotating basis.
Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration.
Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.

Employment Requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
1-2 years of commercial baking experience is preferred.
