Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100)
Location: Calgary, AB (Private Household)

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Anticipated Start Date: September 1st, 2026

Salary: $21 per hour

Hours: 30 hours a week

Job Description & Main Duties

Supervision: Provide full-time care and supervision for [Number] child(ren) in the employer’s home.

Physical Care: Bathe, dress, and feed infants/children; prepare infant formulas and change diapers as required.

Nutrition: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

Environment: Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean environment within the home (light housekeeping related to childcare).
Education & Play: Organize and participate in age-appropriate educational activities, including crafts, reading, games, and outdoor outings to support physical and social development.

Routine Management: Oversee rest periods and daily schedules as instructed by the parents.

Hygiene: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social manners.

Transportation: Tend to school pick-ups/drop-offs and accompany children to appointments.

Record Keeping: Maintain a daily log of activities, health information, and development milestones.

Employment Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: [Insert requirement, e.g., 1 year to less than 2 years of professional childcare experience].

Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification (current) is mandatory.

Security: Criminal record check and vulnerable sector search will be required.
