Salary: $19.00 / hour

No of Vacancies: 1

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 40 hours / week

Start date: As soon as possible

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will Train

NOC Group: 85101-Harvesting Labourers

Location: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

 

Work site environment

·         Outdoors

·         In/on water

·         Wet/damp

·         Dusty

·         Hot

Responsibilities

Tasks

·         Apply fertilizers

·         Clean the crops

·         Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas

·         Clear fields of wood and stones

·         Cut agricultural crops

·         Level earth to fine grade specifications

·         Mixing fertilizer

·         Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops

·         Weeding

·         Fertilize and spray crops

·         Harvest crops

·         Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry

·         Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

·         Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market

·         Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
