Employer: Mazumder Family (elderly couple with Dementia)
Job Position: Home Support Worker
Location: Pape Ave, Toronto, ON, ON

Salary: $21.00/hr (40 hours weekly)
Overtime pay at 1.5 times employee’s regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends
Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Language: English
Education: Secondary School plus CPR or First Aid

Responsibilities:

Personal hygiene and grooming. Assistance with getting dressed. Administer personal care. Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals, Shop for food and household supplies. Accompany for walks and to all activities, weather permitting. Make appointments and give reminders. Maintain schedule and accompany to all appointments and activities. Provide care and companionship. Engage in conversations. Perform health-related duties such as medication reminders (if required) Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds. Good communication and decision-making skills and organization are essential. Must be flexible.
