Overview

What you will do
Operate a flatbed truck on local and short haul routes as assigned.
Secure, transport, and deliver loads safely, following safe load handling and tie down practices.
Perform routine pre trip and post trip inspections and report defects or safety concerns promptly.
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records related to trips, loads, and inspections.
Follow company safety policies and applicable driving and workplace regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and job site requirements.

Work environment and physical requirements
This is a seasonal role with regular on site driving and deliveries to various locations. The work can include early starts, varied weather conditions, and physical tasks connected to load securement and vehicle checks.

Able to work independently and manage time and route priorities.
Strong communication and teamwork approach.
English required.
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Transportation requirement: Valid driver’s licence.
