Title of the position: Technical Service Representative

Job duties:

·        Install, maintain and repair industrial coding and marking equipment, such as industrial inkjet printers, thermal transfer printers, and other industrial coding and marking systems.

·        Attend customer sites to examine and test industrial inkjet and laser equipment, including circuit boards, power supplies, and fluid delivery systems, through the safe and proper use of multimeters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes, magnifiers, and other electronic and mechanical test instruments, tools and equipment.

·        Test industrial coding and marking equipment to identify and locate electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment faults.

·        Resolve equipment issues by adjusting, aligning, calibrating, replacing or repairing industrial coding and marking equipment.

·        Complete work orders detailing equipment problems observed and diagnosed, and all related repairs, maintenance, calibration, adjustments completed on customer equipment, related to service calls and other activities.

·        Provide equipment operator training in customer locations to Tigerpak customers on equipment that is sold serviced and supported by Tigerpak.

·        Provide routine maintenance training and guidance to resolve equipment technical performance issues

 

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Language of work: English

Wage: $36/hour

Location(s) of work: The position is based out of our office in Mississauga, ON and routine daily travel to visit customer sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Skills requirements:

Education: College level certificate or diploma in a related field required

Work experience: Minimum of 2 years experience servicing industrial inkjet printers from manufacturers.
