Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Workers to join our team In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. You will work closely with construction teams and assist the skilled tradespeople and contribute to the overall success of construction projects.
About Bretoba Contracting Ltd
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including loading and unloading materials
Operate hand tools and power tools as directed by supervisors
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
Support skilled tradespeople in tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and masonry work.
Perform physical labour including lifting heavy materials, digging and carrying supplies
Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Key Qualifications:
High school diploma; 1-2years directly related experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced work environment.
Capable of handling/lifting heavy loads (more than 100 lbs)
Capable of carrying out repetitive activities in a physically demanding work environment
Attention to detail in manual dexterity.
Working under pressure to meet client deadlines.
Language: English (minimum CLB 4)
