What you will do
Set up and operate cutting equipment to fabricate parts and products.
Load, feed, or place materials into the machine and monitor the machine during operation to ensure it runs properly.
Cut, shape, and fit materials to form parts and components.
Inspect manufactured items for defects and confirm they meet specifications.
Affix seals or tags to approved products.
Return defective products for repair or recycle as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work environment and physical requirements
This is an on-site position with no remote option.
The worksite environment can be noisy and dusty.
This job is physically demanding and includes repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
You must be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and working in a setting that involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Weight handling may be up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Security and safety
Criminal record check required.

What we are looking for
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Personal suitability: Organized, reliable, team player

Job details
Wage: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Term: Permanent employment, full time
Start date: As soon as possible
Openings: 6 vacancies
