Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00-$24.00 hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties:

·         Prepare full meals and specialized dishes with high attention to detail

·         Modify recipes to safely accommodate guests with food allergies or intolerances

·         Track portion sizes to maintain plate consistency and reduce kitchen waste

·         Check the ingredients and equipment needed for daily service

·         Instruct kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety protocols

·         Monitor inventory levels and keep work areas clean and organized

·         Oversee kitchen helpers to ensure a smooth workflow

Job requirements:

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Language: English
