Position Info:

·         Position: Retail Sales Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $44.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: A 4775 Joyce Ave, Powell River, BC V8A 3B5

Job Duties:

·         Supervise retail staff, assign duties, and monitor performance to maintain high service standards and efficient store operations

·         Analyze market trends and local consumer demand to support sales planning and improve product selection

·         Determine appropriate product assortment for the store, including tobacco products and related merchandise, while implementing effective pricing and promotional strategies

·         Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and wholesalers, negotiating purchasing terms and coordinating inventory procurement

·         Plan and implement in store marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase customer traffic and sales performance

·         Monitor store financial performance by managing budgets, controlling operating expenses, and reviewing sales revenue reports

·         Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns, resolving service issues, and improving overall service quality

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 3-5 years of retail or wholesale sales experience is required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
