Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 410-1185 Prosperity Way, Williams Lake, B.C. V2G 0A6

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook various types of complete meals and individual dishes

·         Manage kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff and helpers

·         Keep records of inventory, order food and all the supplies

·         Maintain inventory and purchase supplies and equipment

·         May plan menus and estimate food requirements and costs

·         Inspect and ensure that the food preparation area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized

·         May assist in hiring and recruiting new kitchen staff

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of Secondary School is required

·         Language: English
