Position Info:

·         Position: Building Maintenance Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.35/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 5402 Highway Street, Valleyview, AB T0H 3N0

Job Duties:

·         Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance staff, ensuring all assigned tasks and projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard

·         Plan, organize, and schedule maintenance operations, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance for the property

·         Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and guests

·         Procure and manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment required for ongoing operations

·         Interpret technical drawings, building plans, and maintenance manuals to support repair and installation work

·         Provide hands on training and guidance to maintenance staff

·         Evaluate employee performance and make recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, or disciplinary actions as needed

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of related work supervised is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
