Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.62~$36.00hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location : 1320 Cliffe Ave, Courtenay, BC V9N 2K4

Benefits:

Job Duties:

• Estimate food requirements, food costs, and labour costs
• Create new recipes
• Show and educate new cooking techniques to kitchen staff
• Instruct and supervise cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
• Plan menus and ensure foods meet quality standards
• May hire new kitchen staff
• Prepare and cook complete meals

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
