Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 6501 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, BC V5P 1T3

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook full menus and dishes

·         Adjust recipes for guests with food allergies or dietary needs

·         Oversee kitchen staff and train the team on food preparation and safety standards

·         Calculate portion sizes and monitor food costs

·         Order all necessary food, supplies, and equipment

·         Manage inventory and keep accurate records of supplies

·         Ensure all kitchen and prep areas stay clean and organized

Job requirements:

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Language: English
