Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.00~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 15-2662 Austin Avenue, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6C4

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty dishes

·         Develop menus and ensure food meets quality standards

·         Evaluate the needs and costs for necessary supplies, including food and labor

·         Supervise the activities of kitchen staff

·         Recruit and hire new team members

·         Train and guide kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation

·         Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
